At the Mighty Preservation Society, saving animals is the name of the game, and when dangerous wild creatures venture a little too close for comfort to Mighty Town, it’s up to Megan the Ranger and her friends to save the day.
The American alligator is the most common of the crocodilians native to Mighty World. Megan often patrols the waterways for these types of gators, the ones venturing a little too close to nearby lakes and translocate them back to their regular habitat of wetlands and marshes. Ken says that "most alligators are readily trapped because they are attracted to bait, but having a live one on the business end of a snare and bringing him onboard safely with it’s big ol’ chompers taped shut is easier said than done". I should say so Ken!
Today there’s a fierce alligator on the loose, and Megan’s dragged Ken away from cleaning his trusted ATV to help her catch it. Together, Megan and Ken are well equipped for the task. With their new canoe, a fresh load of supplies and a sturdy snare, they're definitely in hot pursuit. Though the alligator is ferocious and dangerous to catch, Megan and Ken are sure to snare it safely and move it far away from town. Another gator saved.
