Dolphins are the most intelligent and playful marine animals, and Adventurer Megan is a fun-loving, smart cookie herself … So, when the two meet up, it’s a whale of a good time! On her last trip to sea, she spotted a mother dolphin and her baby calf. The baby was just starting to eat fish on its own, and Megan was excited to see the two so healthy and happy.
Spotting dolphin pods requires an active set of eyes. So, Megan and her marine boat pilot, Sean, scan the vast ocean for splashes. Those tiny ripples in the distance may very well be our friends, the dolphins, surfacing for air.
Once they motor their craft closer to the splashes, often, at the bow of the boat, dolphins magically appear, swimming along with them. Talk about friendly.
Megan is an expert scuba diver, and uses her scuba gear and waterproof camera to dive fathoms deep taking magnificent photos. Megan is a calm and steady diver, which pays off, because marine life rarely gets spooked. There’s a whole world down there, waiting to be captured.
People like Megan and Sean help us all to appreciate the delicate balance of ocean life. And with that greater understanding hopefully we can all strive to protect marine life and the environment.
