While Dean’s certainly against speed bumps on the information super highway (like this here speedy blog), he surely has a different view when it comes to the highways he’s sworn to keep safe, and that includes patrolling the open roads for speeding cars and fast wheeling trucks.
Today there’s a stretch of highway on the outskirts of Mighty Town that slows abruptly from 60 to 35 miles per hour due to some construction work the Mighty Road Crew
has underway; and to keep Ryan and Jessie safe from passing motorists, Dean has decided to strictly enforce the posted speed limit. “Even without radar guns and hi-tech speed detectors, just being out here is enough to slow down most drivers, says Dean. “And that’s really all we want, to keep people safe – including those few with a lead foot”
