Staying out of hot water

Adventure Log by Megan the Ranger – Well it’s been some time since I’ve heard from my fellow adventurers Tom and Ken, so I decided to pair up with Sean (who captains our adventure boat) and my old gal pal from school days, Sam the Antiquarian. We thought it best to head downstream and see if we could link up with the boys – make sure they haven’t gotten themselves into too much hot water.

I donned my new blue wetsuit and the three of us decided to head along the river and see if we could spot their campsite. This area has such diverse wildlife, geology and peoples that we’ve found ourselves pulling ashore often and doing a little exploring of our own by talking to the locals and taking lots of pictures.

When you study the map, you’ll realize that the rivers of this jungle form some of the best ways to explore and experience this vast territory, and with so many waterways it may take us some time before we locate Tom and Ken. The three of us can’t seem to make up our minds about which fork in the river to take … As my good friend Sam keeps reminding me “indecision is the key to flexibility.”
