A siren wails, lights flash – what’s that? Its Fire Chief Flint coming to the rescue in his department issued SUV, ready to take command on the scene and extinguish the problem.
Chief Flint is a natural at “reading” a fire and developing a plan to fight it. His SUV is his mobile command post. Chief Flint listens to the sound water makes as it meets the flames. If it vaporizes with a hiss, Flint knows the temperature is still sky high. If it begins to sound more like raindrops that means our firefighters are beginning to get an upper hand on the inferno and strategies can shift.
Once the fire’s out, the Captain supervises the investigation of what sparked the blaze. With his dedication to public service, safety and prevention, he has won the hearts and minds of Mighty World citizens (and many a rescued kitten).
