Most steak lovers will agree that one of the best ways to cook a tender steak is on the bbq and in that arena Toby’s Dad sure has the skills for grills. His summer barbeques can turn salad eaters into hot dog inhalers. As a hungry growing boy Toby knows this all too well. Aside from polishing off hot dogs and hamburgers, little Toby loves to nibble corn on the cob like an old fashioned typewriter; he just hits return, DING!, and starts chompin’ away at the next row of butter soaked kernels. Why the corn is so fresh and delicious it must have arrived directly from the Mighty Town Farmer’s Market.
And with plenty of ice cold soda you’ll find everything you’ll need to fill you up and cool you off on a hot summer’s day. It’s become family tradition to have the first summer barbeque on the same day as the annual go-kart races, and it’s a day that Toby looks forward to all year long. Toby’s mom loves the family’s new super deluxe grill. She makes sure to pre-heat the briquettes assuring the t-bone steaks are cooked a juicy medium rare.
